Executive Overview
As an IT professional, Mr. Bauman brings a diverse technical background with experience in multiple heterogeneous systems environments. He can assess, organize and direct technology efforts as a project manager to provide strategic, quality solutions for a client’s success. Mr. Bauman is conversant in multiple technologies: E-Commerce Services, Networks, Object-Based Technologies, Database design, Financial Management Systems using Standard System Development and Testing Life-Cycle Methodologies, Financial Services (A/P, A/R, Billing, etc.) with strong background in software products, telecom and financial systems. He has multi-tasking project management capabilities and uses "best practices" techniques. Business Background
Extensive project management and administrative experience using technologies to accomplish business objectives (such as e-commerce and business intelligence solutions) for enterprises including a strategic perspective/understanding of systems architectures, systems and business integration planning with in depth financial experience in extensive business operations. Mr. Bauman maps technical solutions to the business problems confronting a company and employs quality assurance techniques to ensure good implementation of these solutions. He has good interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal).
Technology
Mr. Bauman brings integrated business and technological solutions that collapse systems redundancies and reduce time of delivery of vital information. Extensive knowledge of Legacy and non-Legacy (UNIX, NT) system environments and financial applications and the necessary testing components to bring projects to fruition. These system platforms and software layers include HP-K460, Pyramid Reliant 1000, MVS, COBOL (all versions through latest Year 2000 compliant COBOL-II), SAS, Focus, NT, UNIX, LAN/WAN/MANs, DB2, Informix, Powerbuilder, and Visual Basic. Network knowledge extends across HTML, TCP/IP, Java, VOIP, VPN’s, CMIP/CMISE, and Bellcore (now Telecordia) CARE protocols. Current skills involve designing and developing systems across platforms using enterprise-wide business process models and consistent testing methodologies irrespective of technologies used. Mr. Bauman realizes that in today’s systems environment there exists no "pure" architectures and the reality is generally a complex "hybrid" heterogeneous environment of computer systems interfacing across an ever-expanding network.
