Reported to Sr. Vice President Materials. Supervised purchasing activities of +$230 million to include a corporate staff of seven persons supporting eighteen manufacturing plant locations.

    • Introduced utilization of web purchasing solution with annual savings of +$750,000.
    • Championed promoting the highest possible level of Materials Managers expertise in 18 plants.
    • Major player developing and monitoring $34 million in company operating income.

    • Reorganized 25 person staff supporting 5 plant locations with annual purchases of +$350 million.
    • Developed/implemented supplier management program for international/domestic supplier base.
    • Directed installation of manufacturing software system in 3 countries.
    • Organized and chaired Corporate Purchasing Council for 10 plants in U.S., Canada, and Mexico.
    • Key team member of 700 employee Mexico plant site selection and successful start up.
